Services
One experienced person to organize the contents of a home, coordinate the right independent providers and carry the project through to an empty, clean and ready property.
Clearing an estate property is rarely a single job. It is dozens of small decisions — what the family wants kept, what should be looked at by a professional before it leaves, what can be donated, what has to be recycled or disposed of, and who needs to be booked and in what order. Alberta Estate Transitions manages that work as a project so the executor and the family are making decisions rather than chasing logistics.
The first visit is a walk-through and a conversation. We look at the property, talk about the timeline, and identify what matters most to the family. From there you receive a written plan: the sequence of work, the providers required, and what will be needed from you at each stage.
Sorting then happens room by room, with family priorities handled first. Anything a family member believes may be valuable is set aside for a qualified appraiser or auction provider to assess — we coordinate those specialists, we do not assess value ourselves. Donations, recycling and disposal are arranged around what remains, and the property is prepared for cleaning and final handover.
Estate lawyers, realtors, appraisers, auction companies, movers and cleaners each have their own role. Independent providers normally contract with and are paid directly by the client. Our part is coordination, organization, documentation and one consistent point of contact so nothing falls between them.
Alberta Estate Transitions does not provide legal, tax or accounting advice and does not act as executor, trustee or estate administrator.
