For Professionals

A Reliable Local Resource for Your Clients

When a client's file depends on a property being sorted, cleared and prepared, Alberta Estate Transitions manages that side of the work — and keeps you informed without adding to your workload.

Who this is for

  • Estate lawyers
  • Realtors
  • Trust professionals
  • Financial advisers
  • Senior living professionals
  • Care professionals
  • Funeral professionals

How a referral works

A professional makes an introduction. Alberta Estate Transitions then speaks directly with the client, assesses the property and scopes the physical transition. The client retains Alberta Estate Transitions directly, and the project is managed from there. Communication runs through the authorized decision-maker, and the professional who made the introduction is kept informed to whatever degree the client approves.

Where the boundary sits

Alberta Estate Transitions manages the physical and logistical side of a household transition: sorting, family distribution, documentation of significant items, donation, disposal, coordination of independent movers, cleaners, appraisers or auction providers, and final property preparation. It does not provide legal, tax or accounting advice and does not act as executor, trustee or estate administrator. Nothing in the work displaces the professional advice a client already receives from you.

What you can expect

A written scope before work begins, a schedule your own deadlines can be planned around — a listing date, a possession date, a court timeline — and one person to call. Independent providers normally contract with and are paid directly by the client, so there is no bundled markup to explain.
