The Next Chapter Method
Five stages that turn a daunting transition into an ordered set of decisions, with one person responsible for the plan throughout.
A private conversation to understand the family, the home and the timeline.
A written plan naming every task, decision and provider required.
Room by room — keep, distribute, assess, donate or responsibly release.
Movers, cleaners and specialists scheduled around one plan and one contact.
The move, the listing preparation or the handover of a clear, clean property.
The first conversation is private and costs nothing. We talk about the household, the people involved, the timeline and any pressure points — a possession date, a care move, a listing deadline. Nothing is proposed until the situation is understood.
You receive a written plan: the scope of work, the sequence, the independent providers likely to be required, and what will be asked of the family at each stage. It is the document the whole project runs against, and it is agreed before any work begins.
Work happens room by room. Family priorities are identified first, then items are grouped for distribution, professional appraisal where warranted, donation, recycling or disposal. Significant items are documented, and decisions are recorded rather than assumed.
Movers, cleaners, appraisers, auction providers and trades are scheduled around the plan. These are independent businesses that normally contract with and are paid directly by the client. Their work is coordinated and supervised so the family is not managing five calendars.
The move, the listing preparation or the handover of an empty and clean property — with the documentation from the project handed over at the end.
Every project begins with a walk-through and a written scope, so the work and its cost are agreed before anything starts. Scope can be a full household transition or a single stage, depending on what the family needs.
Next Step
Every engagement begins with a private, no-obligation conversation. We listen first, then set out a clear plan in writing.
