Moving from a long-held home into something smaller is a large project. You keep the decisions; we organize the work and coordinate the people required to complete it.
A downsizing move is usually described as a move. In practice it is a long sequence of decisions about belongings — what fits, what goes to family, what is donated, what is disposed of, and what should be looked at by someone qualified before it leaves. Most of the difficulty sits in that sorting, not in the truck.
The person moving makes the decisions about their own belongings. Our role is to make those decisions manageable: to sequence them, to keep the pace reasonable, to hold the details, and to make sure nothing is quietly lost in the rush. Family members who live elsewhere are kept informed without having to run the project by phone.
Movers, cleaners, appraisers and auction providers are independent businesses that normally contract with and are paid directly by the client. We coordinate them around one plan and one schedule, and remain the single point of contact throughout.
If the move itself is the main concern, see move coordination.
