Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information this website collects and how it is used.

Information we collect

We collect only the information you choose to send us. Through the consultation form that is your name, email address, phone number if provided, the location of the property, the type of help you are asking about, your approximate timeline and the description you write. Through the newsletter form it is your first name, email address, the description you select, and a record of the consent wording you agreed to along with the date and page.

How we use it

Consultation requests are used solely to respond to your enquiry and to plan any work you go on to engage us for. Requesting a consultation does not subscribe you to marketing email. Newsletter addresses are used only to send The Next Chapter emails you have consented to receive.

Consent and unsubscribing

In keeping with Canada’s anti-spam legislation, we send commercial email only to people who have given express consent, we record the wording consented to, and every such email includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately. You can also withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@alberta-estate.com.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. Information is shared with independent service providers only where it is necessary to carry out work you have asked us to coordinate, and only with your knowledge.

Storage and retention

Enquiries and subscriber records are kept only as long as needed for the purpose they were given for, or as required by law. Email delivery is handled by a third-party sending provider on our behalf.

Access and corrections

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@alberta-estate.com or call (587) 222-4958.
